On the 16th March 2012, Uniqlo’s new Ginza flagship store in Tokyo will quietly dethrone the just opened 5th Avenue store as the retail chain’s largest store. As part of the revival of the historical Ginza Komatsu Department Store, Uniqlo Ginza will occupy all twelve floors of an entire wing of the complex. To put things into perspective, the Ginza flagship store will be more than twice the size of the 5th Avenue store, which itself sits just under 90,000 square feet.
